Semi-Traditional Fish

The fish has a legacy and heritage that goes back a lot further than people think. The Steve Lis and the San Diego crew were pushing the boundaries of performance on the original boards arguably before anyone else, and without anyone paying attention. They are superbly functional, and while most people think of them as small wave boards, they were originally designed to take on waves that other boards couldn't handle. In fact, the waves the original guys were riding were the same waves that were prveiously considered the training grounds before going to Hawaii. So, the boards had to handle serious situations.

Over the past 5 years or so, I've worked with some of the real masters, taken their input, and while remaining true to the orginal concept, I have adapted it to suit the UK conditions. These are not carbon copies of what were done before, or fat railed "retro" wanna bees, but fully refined modern designs with a life and identity of their own.

The concept is simple and subtle, yet very complex at the same time. They are not really a beginner's board, but will reward you the more you ride them, figure them out, and will surprise you by the range of waves they handle. I usually chicken out before the board does...
