I am a small custom surfboard maker in Tynemouth, the chilly North East of England, specializing in semi-traditional polyurethane and epoxy surfcraft. I personally do everything from 100% hand shaping, glassing, making my own custom eps blanks, sanding, even making my own fins from glass or recycled timber when ordered. My boards are designed for each client specifically, and while I do have some specific templates, they are all able to cross pollinate to become a finely tuned surfcraft suited to a personal style.

Update for 2010: Thanks to everyone for the holiday wishes, and continued support. I'm back in Tynemouth, and gearing up for some new projects. I'll be moving down to the north coast of Cornwall in April, and setting up a small workshop in the hills. So, if you're nearby, stop in for a chat.
I'll be offering a new polyester resin this year for clear laminations, along with standard Silmar. The new resin is a special formulation used in marine applications, which are much more demanding than surfboards. Meaning less cloth and stronger boards. It has a nice color too, but isn't for everyone, so please ask for details.
