Welcome to the Royal Family
I am a small custom surfboard maker currently living in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. I specialize in semi-traditional polyurethane and epoxy surfcraft. I personally do 100% of everything from shaping through the polishing. My boards are designed for each client specifically, and while I do have some specific templates, they are all able to cross pollinate to become a finely tuned surfcraft suited to your personal style.
So, please have a look around and let me know what you think.

May 2013 - change afoot!
3 years ago the Halliburton/BP spill happened in the Gulf of Mexico, spilling countless gallons of oil. There are still who knows how many gallons on the floor of the gulf. I wasn't personally effected by this, but the destruction was very real to me, as was the dependence on oil for daily life. I vowed to make a move away from petroleum products, and reduce my impact as a human, and specifically a board builder.
In hindsight, I haven't lived up to that promise. I could blame several things for that, but it doesn't make it any less true. After relocating to the east coast, and now being able to access several new avenues of board building, I'm making the move to lower my impact as a board builder. To that end, I'm moving away from poly builds, except by special order.
The new std build is recycled EPS, S Glass, with Bio epoxy. This yields a light, strong, and lively board that isn't too unfamiliar in feel to poly builds. And, with the lower core cost, the price isn't far off a std polyester board either.
Don't worry, the same wacky color work, and quality is still available, just in a better product for you, and the ocean. I'll be updating my portfolio as the new boards come out.
Also available, any of the shortboard models built in CoreVac composite builds for $695. This is a super tough, lightweight vacuum bag technology built 100% by local surfers here in Melbourne, Florida. I've been riding an asymmetric demo, and am stoked on them for sure!
Thanks for stopping by, and happy surfing!
